Everybody wants people over. Almost nobody wants to host. There is the planning, the shopping, the four hours in the kitchen while your friends are in the next room without you, and the pile of dishes waiting at midnight.
So people go out instead. Somewhere loud, somewhere you cannot hear each other, somewhere you are handed a plate and asked to leave in ninety minutes.
Maison des Amis exists to make the first thing possible without any of the second.
We are in the business of long tables, loud rooms and food that took a bit of effort.
There is a third option.
Your table, your friends, and somebody who has done this for forty years. We arrive an hour before you do and leave the kitchen cleaner than we found it.
Nobody gets up.

Real ingredients, real technique, a drink in your hand, and everybody makes something of their own.

You invited them. We shop, we set, we pour and we clear, so you are at the table when they arrive and still there when they leave.
